Company History

Since 1960 E. Affolter Ltd is manufacturing turned parts.

The founder, Mr. Emile Affolter, started in a garage by himself.

In 1969, he bought an old industriel building at the Gare 5 in Moutier, just across the railroad station. At that period, 10 persons were working with him.

In 1977, Mr. Emile Affolter died and his son Tony took over with his friend Kurt Gloor.

In 1988, they bought a new building with 1600 square meters of facilities on one floor.

45 persons are actualy working managed by a young and dynamic staff.

As we are a small company, we are flexible and respectful to the deliveries and listening to our customer's wishes.

Every year, we invest a substantial amount in means of production, quality and personal training to stay at the forefront of progress.
